                                if you split them, you will give declarer a free finesse!  Declarer just has to duck the 
                                first split, let West win it, and next time South plays a diamond and has a free finesse!
                                They know where the King is so they've got you trapped in front of the A-10.  They'll make
                                all those diamonds!
