New Feature for Clubs - ACBL Club Game Results Program

ACBL is excited to announce a new service to club managers. This new feature – the ACBL Club Game Results Program – is a free service that allows clubs the ability to post their sanctioned ACBL game results on the ACBL web site for viewing. If you are a club manager and wish to take advantage of this new program, click here and then click on the "Sign Up" button to complete a short registration form.

New Promotional Tool for Teachers of Youth!

ACBL’s marketing department has produced a promotional DVD targeting the youth audience. This DVD is meant to be a marketing tool to assist teachers or anyone attempting to get young people interested in playing the game of bridge. These DVD's are available, free of charge, to anyone wishing to promote bridge to prospective youths. To order a copy of this DVD, send your request via email to marketing@acbl.org.


Important Reminders: Spread the Word!

Amnesty Offer

Time is running out! Don't forget to remind your players about ACBL’s “Amnesty Offer.” The offer - which will end December 31, 2009 – is for lapsed ACBL members who have unrecorded masterpoints. Please encourage these former ACBL members to reinstate their membership before December 31, 2009 so they can receive all masterpoints won during the time they were on inactive membership status credited to them at no charge.


Life Master Status Changes on Jan. 1, 2010

Effective January 1, 2010 the requirements for attaining Life Master status will change to 500 total masterpoints, of which 50 must be gold or platinum, 50 red, gold or platinum, 75 silver and 75 black. These new requirements will apply to anyone who is not a Life Master and whose ACBL membership is not active as of December 31, 2009. Spread the word!

Marketing Tips and Tricks

Congratulations to John Grossman from Colorado Springs Unit 360 for being the winner of the Marketing Tips & Tricks random drawing promotion. John won a Pizza Party for his club or class. We wish to thank everyone who participated in our Marketing Tips & Tricks promotion and who submitted their marketing success stories.
