NORTH
AMERICAN PAIRS (NAP) QUALIFIERS
The NAP
is a special event that begins with players
qualifying for the District 4 finals by earning
a qualification at the club level. All masterpoint
awards (section and overall) pay ½ red
points and
½ black points.
The Flight “C” (NLM
less than 500) District finals will be played
at the North Penn Bridge Club with the event
scored just like a STaC as multiple clubs
throughout the District will host the event
on October 17, 2009. The Flight
“C” District Finals will
award 10 points to the winning pair members,
2-1/2 of which will be gold points. The
Flight “B”
(less than 2,000 points) District Finals
will be played in Wilmington on October
24 and Flight “A” will be
played in Allentown on October 17 & 18.
First, second and third place pairs overall
in each flight will receive a partial
subsidy if they play in the National
event at the Reno NABC in March 2010.
The North Penn Bridge Club in Lansdale is starting
a new Saturday evening game beginning May 9th.
The kickoff events will be a charity pairs game
